I am a licensed psychologist (number AN10229) by the Official College of Psychologists, Graduate in Psychology with a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology from the University of Córdoba and a Master’s in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurosciences from the University of Granada.
Since I started my career, I felt a great vocation for the field of Neuropsychology and Neurosciences. I began specializing in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In 2018, I published in a scientific journal on the effectiveness of cognitive stimulation in ADHD. I started working in various centers in Andalusia, conducting assessments and interventions in the field of Neuropsychology, both for adults and children. Later, on one hand, I began working in early intervention centers and in the area of private therapy with children and adolescents. Since then, I have been collaborating with the Pablo de Olavide University (UPO) and the CEU San Pablo University Andalusia teaching practice students both in person and online for the Master’s in Early Intervention. Additionally, I conduct review and follow-up of clinical cases.
Working with children and adolescents, I discovered the importance of working with parents as part of the effectiveness of the intervention. For this reason, I began specializing in parent therapy and individual therapy for adults, in the field of anxiety and depression.
Personal Aspects
From a very young age, when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always responded that I wanted to heal people. I have always been sensitive, empathetic, and sociable, often offering my help to anyone who needed it, whether I knew them well or not.
After a psychological crisis of a close family member, I realized that not only the body can become ill, but our mind can too. Seeing the positive change that psychological therapy can bring, I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to Psychology. After thirteen years, I can say it was the best decision I could have made. I must confess that I adore my profession and cannot feel happier knowing that every day I can contribute a small part to the happiness of others.
